Poet, scientist and musician, Krishna Kant Shukla is a peculiar man. His thinking is at the crossing of faith and science. His trajectory is atypical. During his youth he went to the schools of Kashi before perfecting his studies in England and then in The United States. As a physician, he taught sciences there in a large American University. At this point in time he was living in a privileged environment and got gradually closer to his own culture and rediscovered there more particularly the texts by Kabir. In the light of his scientific education, he confronted faith and science by never putting them in opposition. Now living in Kashi, he devotes his life to the singing of Kabir’s poems of which he has become a great specialist. more at http://adayinkashi.free.fr/krishnakantshukla.htm
